"What is the Championship Racing Series?"

Historical Connection

The Champion Racing League began in 1956 as the USAC Championship Car Season and ran 39 seasons. The league considered itself a true test of driving ability and included oval, road, dirt oval and hill climb events. Each year, a true racing champion was crowned.

Here at Championship Racing Series, our goal is to provide an experience that resembles the historical roots of this championship while bringing it to the modern era. The Championship Racing Series aims to crown a true driving champion, capable of competitive racing throughout various car and track combinations. Expect classic combinations as well as unusual, whacky ones within this true mixed-bag experience. No car/track combination is off the table, expect the unexpected.

This series is one of several within the Just 2 Idiots Cup Series umbrella. J2ICS boasts over 50 active drivers in two road series, two oval series, and a rallycar series. This project is another brick within an already-thriving community. Series events will be featured in Twitch broadcasts, YouTube media and more!
