The finale to Just 2 Idiot Cup’s Season 3 brings us to Round 18 at Le Mans. Etmidust claimed pole with a time of 3:50.770. The race began in the early morning hours. All drivers remained clean after the green flag drop for a solid amount of time, until Brando and Sector came together at the Mulsanne corner. Etmidust’s pace was no match for fellow racers and found himself ahead by a large margin within the first quarter of the race. Due to the complexity of the track and length of the race, some racers found themselves with an early retirement due to damage and race fatigue.

With one lap to go, Etmidust suffered a severe hardware failure which knocked him out of first place, shortly after setting the fastest lap of the race, with a time of 3:51.356. This dropped Etmidust down to fourth place after serving his tow. Regardless of the hardware failure or not, Void would have managed to clinch the Season 3 victory, which he did the following lap finishing in first place. Congratulations to Void for an amazing performance over the course of the season. Erco managed a second place finish, with CaptainCK claiming the final spot on the podium.

The first race of the day began with Void on pole-position. All drivers remained clean through the first turn, but a multitude of incidents followed afterwards. Drivers found continual issues with the horseshoe turn, as well as the final turn leading to the oval portion of the track. This included incidents between Rocky and Erco, Sector and Dan, as well as AJensen and BeastGP. NBRacing brought home the win, with Etmidust and Nickalator finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The second race began with CaptainCK on pole. The first turn of race two did not fare as well, with a collision between Slugnificent and Brando. Towards the end of the race positions seemed set in stone until a late lunge from Nickalator went sour, leading to contact with Berries and both drivers losing a handful of positions. CaptainCK was able to hold onto his starting position, finishing with the lead for his first Official J2iCS event. Void and NBRacing followed in 2nd and 3rd.

With his finishing positions in both races, Void has statistically clinched his first J2iCS Championship. Congratulations!

USA International marked J2ICS' first short track oval race of the season. Competition was fierce, but NBRacing10 swept both races at USA Speedway. Late race charges from Void, Water Cooler Dale, AJensen, and Nickalator were fought off with ease by NBRacing10, winning by a comfortable margin.

There were a handful of collisions, with a large wreck caused by a spin from Erco on a safety car restart. On race two, Brando clutched second place from Nickalator on the final corner of the final lap.

While race one was rather clean, the action heated up under the lights at Charlotte Motor Speedway's Roval. Coming to the green, multiple cars stacked up causing carnage. This resulted in a number of drivers being taken out of contention quickly. NBRacing10 took home two more wins at America's Home for Racing, nearly lapping the whole field in the first race.

Race one, while remaining fairly clean, had a number of incidents involving top contending drivers. Void and Brando got into it fairly early in the race. The post-race analysts are reviewing it as I write this. The race came to an end with Lt. Dan as the victor.

Race two saw a similar amount of carnage. Notably, Rivazza and Ankit, which resulted in Rivazza receiving a black flag from Race Control. Void took the win in race two for a ARC Send It! sweep. Other notables, Erco finished fourth in both races and RTupps failed to enter the lobby for the race.

Quintono takes the victory at Spa during the 6th race of the J2iCS season. The #23's teammate, Etmidust finished in 2nd. The overnight hours took a toll on many drivers and even forced the first full-course yellow of the season.

Multiple drivers experienced mechanical issues and were provisioned back into the race due to a technical error during inspection. Due to confusion, Full-course yellow procedures have been updated for future races. Lt. Dan and Void ran strong all evening and both wrecked in the same incident in the overnight portion of the race.

The fourth race of the J2iCS season saw a lot of, you guessed it; chaos. While many drivers had much better races than normal, some had to avoid incident after incident while progressing through the race, such as a large pile up at the start of race two.

NBRacing10 took the win in race one after dueling Void and Lt. Dan for the victory. Water Cooler Dale, the lone Ford on the track, had a celebration of his own after finishing a season high of 18th in both races.

Due to weather delays, the second J2iCS race of the season was ran under the few lights installed at Monza Oval. While the GTE cars all have headlights, visibility was a clear issue throughout the evening. A bigger issue--wrecks. Of the scheduled distance, J2iCS only ran 58 laps.

Barely half of those laps were green. While green flag runs were short, the racing was competitive. Multiple passes for the lead and close pack racing drew new fans into the Monza stands. By the end of the race, many had seen their fair share of adversity. Water Cooler Dale incurred serious damage from a wreck and lost all of his fuel. It took the team seven green flag laps to realize the problem when the car would not restart. Etmidust also struggled with mechanical failures on his car.
